Shipping policy

Origin of Products

All of our products are shipped from our or our partners’ fulfilment facilities located in Finland.

Please notice this before placing an order, as all products received in your country will incur Value Added Tax (VAT) and a nominal percentage tax. All products on our webshop are displayed exclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) or any General Sales Tax (GST).

 

Shipping methods & delivery times

All of our shipments are predominantly provided through courier services using expedited airfreight. The iteams are ready for shipping within 12 hours of clearance of your payment. With weekend days excluded, our shipments reach most delivery destinations within 3-5 business days.

 

Missing or lost packages

Every package delivered by Pipemade™ is assigned with accompanying tracking number. Your personal tracking number will be delivered to your account email address provided when the package is handed out to the courier. Should your package be lost in delivery, you should contact us immediately through shipping@pipemade.com. We will report the missing package to the courier and locate it through the courier service.

 

International shipping & taxes

If your company is registered for Value Added Tax (VAT), please include your VAT ID # on the order form when you make the purchase through our webshop. The VAT ID will be added to the your invoice and the receipt of purchase.

Tax and clearance legislation varies by country. We hold ourselves responsible to ensure that your goods purchased are delivered to the courier within the agreed timeframe, and that the shipment is traceable and professionally packaged to survive the travel. Once the shipment arrives to the country of destination, the courier services will either deliver the package directly or inform you if a customs charge is payable.

In some countries, the courier company could charge an additional fee for presenting your shipping documents to the customs office.

Generally, most customs officials take the following factors into account when determining customs clearance costs:

Firstly, the description of the item determines the taxable rate. In some countries, most of our equipment are considered essential services/goods and the taxable rate is minimal whilst in other countries there is no structure in place for determining this.

We use the following Harmonized System (HS) codes as the description (or part of it) of goods:

Secondly, the cost of the item. Each country is different, but as a rule, the cost of the item (and the shipping costs) is subject to a percentage tax if it is over a threshold amount. We are happy to assist you with the appropriate links to this information when making your inquiry.

Please note that all of our shipments are completed under Incoterms® term EXW and it’s important to note that we do not pay your taxes, or other fees which may be applicable in order for your delivery to be concluded. It's the receiver/buyer's responsibility to pay duties and taxes to customs.

Should you decide to cancel your order after your tracking number has been issued, you will be liable for the return shipping costs and re-importation fees associated with returning the delivery to our facilities. Any difference will be credited to your account.

The provision of goods by Pipemade.com is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Pipemade.com will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 10 % administration fee.
