Origin of Products

All of our products are shipped from our or our partners’ fulfilment facilities located in Finland excluding the Foot Pedal for Cordless Drill that is fulfilled in USA. The origin of all products in Pipemade.com is Finland, excluding Foot Pedal for Cordless Drill that originate from USA and the brushes, which originate from China.

Please be aware that all products shipped to your country will incur Value Added Tax (VAT) and, in some cases, additional taxes or duties based on local regulations. These charges are not included in the product prices listed on our website and are the responsibility of the recipient.


Important VAT and Customs Fees Information

VAT and Customs Fees for International Orders (Including the UK)
For customers located in the UK and other international destinations, please note that additional customs duties, VAT, or other import taxes may be imposed by your local government when the product reaches your country. These fees are not included in the product price or the shipping fee paid during checkout on Pipemade.com.

In particular, UK customers should be aware that following Brexit, VAT and customs fees are typically charged upon the arrival of shipments in the UK. This is a mandatory fee set by the UK government, not by Pipemade.com or our courier service (currently UPS). Pipemade.com has no control over these fees, and they are the recipient's responsibility to pay directly to the courier or customs office.

The courier may request payment for these fees before completing the delivery. If the recipient does not pay the required fees, the package may be held, delayed, or returned to us. Please note that Pipemade.com does not receive any portion of these fees, nor can we affect their application.

By proceeding with a purchase, you agree to cover any applicable VAT, customs fees, or other import duties as required by your local government. We strongly encourage you to review the customs policies in your country before placing an order.


Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

We currently offer one standard shipping method for each destination, which is provided via courier services using expedited airfreight. Typically, delivery takes about 7-11 business days, and often quicker within Europe. Our operations pause over the weekend, which may impact processing times. Orders placed on Saturdays and Sundays will be dispatched the following Monday. However, due to high demand, there may be delays, and orders might not ship until Tuesday.

Please note that delivery times may vary based on the destination and other factors beyond our control, such as customs delays, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances. You will receive an automated email notification when your order is fulfilled. This email will include your tracking code so you can monitor your shipment.


How Are Shipping Costs Calculated?

Shipping costs are calculated automatically during checkout based on the product size, total weight, and delivery destination. You can easily check the shipping cost by adding all the desired products to your cart and proceeding to the checkout. After entering your delivery address, the shipping costs will be calculated and displayed. Don't worry—entering your address will reveal the costs without committing you to buy.

Please note that adding items to your order may affect shipping rates. For example, adding multiple items such as three flexible shafts after checking the costs for a single chain knocker could increase shipping fees.


Missing or Lost Packages

Every package delivered by Pipemade.com is assigned a tracking number. Once your order has been packed and is ready for pickup by the carrier, the tracking number will automatically be sent to the email address provided during checkout. If your package is lost during delivery, please contact us immediately via the contact form on our website. We will initiate an investigation with the courier service. While we will do our best to assist you, please note that resolution times may vary depending on the courier’s investigation process. Pipemade.com is not liable for packages marked as “delivered” by the courier.


International Shipping & Taxes

If your company is registered for Value Added Tax (VAT), please include your VAT ID # on the order form when you make a purchase through our webshop. The VAT ID will be added to your invoice and the receipt of purchase.

Tax and clearance legislation varies by country. Our responsibility is to ensure that your goods are handed over to the courier service within the agreed timeframe and securely packaged for international transit. Once the package has been handed over to the courier, the responsibility for delivery and any associated costs, including customs duties and taxes, lies with the recipient. Pipemade.com cannot guarantee specific delivery dates due to potential customs clearance delays.

In some countries, the courier company may charge an additional fee for presenting your shipping documents to the customs office. All of our shipments are completed under Incoterms® term EXW (Ex Works), meaning that we do not cover your customs duties, taxes, or other fees applicable to the delivery. It is the recipient's responsibility to pay any duties and taxes upon delivery.

Cancellation of Order

If you decide to cancel your order after a tracking number has been issued, you will be liable for the return shipping costs and re-importation fees associated with returning the delivery to our facilities. Any remaining balance, after deducting a 10% administration fee, will be credited to your account. Refunds will be processed within 30 days.

Orders cancelled before the tracking number is issued will not be subject to the 10% administration fee.

The provision of goods by Pipemade.com is subject to availability. In cases where an item is unavailable, Pipemade.com will refund the client in full within 30 days.


Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. Photos of the damage or defect, along with your order number, should be sent to sales(at)pipemade.com. We will arrange for the return and replacement of the item at no additional cost to you.
